Ozone-scavenging reagent that reacts rapidly with ozone.
Potassium indigotrisulfonate has been used:
- in colorimetric method of measurement of atmospheric ozone
- for measuring residual aqueous ozone by gas diffusion flow injection analysis.
- to determine O3 concentration in water.
