Description and Uses
1-Cyclohexylpiperidine is used in the preparation of 1-(1-phenylcyclohexyl)piperidine, which shows anticholinesterase activity and antagonistic activity to acetylcholine. It is used as a N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) antagonist. Further, it is used as an anesthetic for animals.
