Description and Uses

Anthraquinone-2,7-disulfonic acid disodium salt is an anthraquinone sulfonate used in AORFBs and self-cleaning nanofiber membranes. It has potential as an aqueous organic redox flow battery (AORFB), where the Anthraquinone-2,7-disulfonic acid disodium salt and potassium iodide are the negative and positive ends, respectively. In addition, since the 2,7-AQDS induces a two-electron redox reaction, its redox reaction is promoted. Anthraquinone-2,7-disulfonic Acid Disodium Salt uses hydrophilic poly(vinyl alc.-co-ethylene) (PVA-co-PE) nanofiber composite membranes to create photoinduced self-cleaning nanofiber membranes[1].

Anthraquinone-2,7-disulfonic Acid Disodium Salt is used with hydrophilic poly(vinyl alc.-co-ethylene) (PVA-co-PE) nanofiber composite membranes to create photoinduced self-cleaning nanofiber membranes.
