Description and Uses
6-Methyl-2-(4-methylphenyl)imidazo[1,2-a]-pyridine-3-acetatemethylester (CAS# 258273-50-6) can be used as a reactant for preparation of zolpidem, which possesses pharmaceutical activity. In addition, this compound is used to synthesize imidazopyridinylacetic acid hydrazides which are ligands of GABAa receptors.
