Description and Uses
4-Chlorobenzeneboronic Acid is used as a catalyst for the preparation of 4-hydroxycoumarin derivatives which display antitrypanosomal and antioxidant properties. It is also used as a catalyst for the asymmetric borane reduction of electron-deficient ketones.
