Description and Uses
1,1,2,3,3,3-Hexafluoropropyl methyl ether (HFPME) can be used as an ozone-depleting alternative to HCFCs. It has also been used in metabolic studies in rat and human liver microsomes , as well as in rats, in order to investigate the role of cytochrome P450 2E1 in the metabolism of 1,1,2,3,3,3- Hexafluoropropyl methyl ether[1].
