Description and Uses
Trimethylphloroglucinol is a chemical compound that has been used for pharmaceutical preparations to treat inflammatory bowel disease. It is a trifluoromethanesulfonic acid salt that can be used for drug repositioning or wastewater treatment.
Phloroglucinol derivative used to reduce the pain intensity of irritable bowel syndrome. Antispasmodic agent. It is also used before the hysteroscopic surgery as a means to efficaciously soften the cervix.
