Description and Uses

Cerium sulfate hydrate is an inorganic metal salt compound. It can be used as a source of cerium to provide synthetic coating nanoparticles. It is also an important raw material for polishing powders, speciality glass and ceramics. It is also used as an industrial antioxidant, a waterproof material and an etchant for integrated circuits. In addition, cerium sulfate is an important raw material and intermediate in organic synthesis, pharmaceuticals, a colouring reagent for aniline black, used as a colour developer and analytical reagent, and also used in tin electrolysis.
