Description and Uses
6-epi-Medroxy Progesterone 17-Acetate (Megestrol Acetate EP Impurity F) is the epimer of Medroxyprogesterone acetate (M203560). Progesterone (1) impurity. Induces LEFTY expression in normal endometrium cells (2). As a derivative of Progesterone, it may assist in the modulation of ATP-induced calcium signaling in breast cancer cells (3).
