4-Methyl-N-(4-nitrophenyl)-1-piperazineacetamide is an intermediate in the synthesis of Desmethyl Nintedanib (D422370), an impurity of Intedanib (I666650), which is an antitumor agent. Desmethyl Nintedanib was used in the study of synthesizing indolinones as triple angiokinase inhibitors.
