Description and Uses
1,8-Diamino-p-menthane is generally used in the synthesis of various Schiff bases that are used in the preparation of coordination complexes with Cu(II), Zn(II), Cr(III), Fe(III) and Co(III) ions. It is also used as a precursor to synthesize heterocyclic Schiff base derivatives with herbicidal activity.
