Description and Uses
The tripeptide trileucine (Leu-Leu-Leu) is found in casein and soy protein. This substance could increase the endothelial release of TXB2 which is a stable marker of TXA2. Inhibitor of human liver alanine aminopeptidase, Ki 0.054 mM. The addition of trileucine improved the aerosol performance and stability of spray-dried powders for inhalation.
Leu-Leu-Leu could be used to synthesize Cl-.H2+-Leu-Leu-Leu-OMe (a hydrochloric acid salt of Peptide derivative IIa).
