Description and Uses
4-Fluorocinnamaldehyde is used as a raw material or reagent in organic synthesis for the production of dyes and various organic compounds. It is also used in the synthesis of new polymers. Moreover, it has been developed as a novel chemosensor probe containing 2-nitro and 4-fluorocinnamaldehyde and applied to anion recognition and sensing processes.
