Description and Uses
2-Bromophenol is an organic substance in which the C2 position of the benzene ring is replaced by a bromine, also known as o-bromophenol.
2-Bromophenol is used in organic synthesis to prepare anti-benzofurandiimideand 1-bromodibenzodioxin. It can also be used as a disinfectant.
